Benchen Retreat Centre

The Buddha said that intellectual knowledge and meditative experience are like the two wings of a bird. One does not make much sense without the other. In order to enable the monks who finished the primary school to deepen their meditative experience Kyabje Tenga Rinpoche established in Pharping (Kathmandu suburbs) the Benchen Clear Light Meditation Centre. There, the monks train themselves in meditation in a 3-years retreat. Practicing in this way the students are supported in developing the inherent clarity and wisdom of the mind for the sake of all sentient beings.

Your donation for this project is very useful and brings lots of benefit!
